Elena Lara Bonanomi was born in Italy, where she developed a strong passion for jewellery that now she considers a significant part of her life.
Her curiosity and incessant will to learn has driven her to move to London where she graduated from Central Saint Martins with a first class honours degree in jewellery design, an experience embellished with multiple prizes and awards from Cartier, Swarovski Foundation, Leatherseller's Company and Brian Wood.
Her passion has grown more and more, thanks to the progressive acquirement of new knowledge and skills through different work experiences for jewellery brands in Milan, London and Paris: a path that finally led her to create her own brand, ElenaLara Jewellery.
ElenaLara Jewellery focuses on the use of gold and silver chains as the common element of its collections, creating jewellery with double designs, metal fabrics with fascinating textures and graphic patterns on gemstones finely hand-carved in geometric shapes.
Every jewel stimulates multiple sensory experiences, thanks to the delicacy of the chains and their sparkling reverberation, as well as the intriguing patterns and unexpected details.
ElenaLara Jewellery’s approach combines tradition and innovation, craftsmanship and mass production, mixing the unique and high quality manual skills typical of Italy with a more conceptual and contemporary approach developed in London.
The love for details and geometries and for what is fine and delicate is clearly recognizable in ElenaLara Jewellery: preciseness and patience are the key words, as elaborate processes are fundamental in order to achieve the best possible result.
Using Made in Italy artisan expertise, ElenaLara jewellery stands out for its minimal yet highly decisive design that encourage modern women's freedom and individuality, winking at pop culture and modern symbolism and enabling the wearer to establish a strong bond that overcomes cultural differences and fashion vagaries.
